Job description

The project

We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer to join the development of a next-generation, AI-first fleet management platform built from the ground up using a cloud-native architecture. This is a greenfield opportunity to work on an innovative solution that leverages cutting-edge AI technologies to optimize fleet operations, enhance driver safety, and ensure regulatory compliance.

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to take full ownership of the design process for a greenfield AI project. This is not about pixel-perfect mockups — it’s about building a product that is intuitive, competitive, and delivers real business value. You’ll be the key UX voice in the team, driving design decisions from concept to execution, and ensuring the product works seamlessly for users while meeting business goals.

Industry: Fleet management

Team: Tech Lead, Backend developers, QA (Poland and Egypt)

The number of open vacancies: 1

Type of contract: B2B
The preferred scale of work: full-time
Start date: ASAP
Type of work:
100% remote from Poland (Lublin preferred)

Location: Poland

Main technologies used in the project:

  • Frontend: Vaadin (mobile-first, responsive)

  • Backend: PostgreSQL (with JSON indexing)

  • Server: Tomcat (Java stack)

  • AI Services: TBC

Your tasks:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of the design process: from user research and concept to execution and delivery.

  • Apply user-centered design principles, making user needs the foundation of all design decisions.

  • Build information architectures, user flows, and wireframes that create a cohesive and intuitive digital experience.

  • Create UI designs and prototypes that combine brand consistency, usability, and functionality.

  • Plan and execute usability testing, iterating designs based on real user feedback.

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless design implementation.

  • Think and act with a product owner mindset: balance user needs, business priorities, and delivery speed.

  • Lead discussions and debates with confidence, always turning insights into clear next steps.

  • Work closely with developers to ensure UI frameworks are used effectively for usability and appeal.

  • Deliver a complete, usable product at a reasonable cost — something that works, not just looks good.

  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and advocate for their smart integration into the product.

Job requirements

What we expect from you:

  • Extensive experience as a UX/UI Designer, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of independent work.

  • Proven ability to take ownership of design projects and deliver exceptional results.

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability testing methods.

  • Experience working alongside developers and familiarity with development processes.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills — able to defend decisions with clarity and data.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

What makes you stand out:

  • A product-driven mindset: measure success by adoption, retention, and business results — not just aesthetics.

  • Startup-ready: thrive in ambiguity, prioritize under pressure, and deliver value fast.

  • Ability to quickly understand new domains (fleet management / mobility) and translate complexity into simple, usable designs.

  • Pragmatic and grounded — not an “artist,” but a builder of products that truly work.

  • medical insurance

  • international clients

  • 100% remote work

  • annual bonuses

  • life insurance

  • non-corporate work atmosphere
