Job description


Our client is an international supplier of communication and information systems for control centers with safety-critical tasks. They specialize in developing and distributing 'Control Centre Solutions' for the Air Traffic Management and Public Safety & Transport sectors. 

As a Software Developer, you will join a dedicated team of professionals to actively contribute to the development of the next-generation platform for safety-critical domains. 
 
This platform is designed to address the highest quality needs in air traffic management, providing reliability, real-time performance, and security as critical success factors. The digital platform facilitates seamless integration of voice and data applications, breaks down operational silos, and prioritizes cyber security throughout the solution lifecycle.  

By streamlining control center tasks and enabling integrated controller operations on a single screen, the platform empowers organizations to enhance service levels without increasing headcount. 
 
 

Position: Scrum Master (he/she)

Industry: Air Traffic Management

Number of Open Vacancies: 1

Type of Contract: B2B / Employment contract

Preferred Scale of Work: on average 8 hours/day

Project methodology: SCRUM (SAFe) 

Start Date: ASAP, remote (the candidate must be located in Poland), long-term cooperation

Product:

  • Microservices Application (on Java)

Technologies used in the project: 

  • Java 17/21, Golang, Python 

  • RedHat 8/10

  • Docker 

  • RabbitMQ 

  • Postgresql, CQL (Cassandra) 

  • React, WebSockets 

  • Jenkins, Ansible 

Your tasks: 

  • Responsibility for the process in an agile and cross-functional development team

  • Organization and moderation of Scrum meetings and accompanying the team in fulfilling the sprint goals

  • Work closely with the Product Owner (backlog maintenance) and continuously control improvements in the team in terms of efficiency and quality

  • Analysis/implementation of customer requirements together with the team (user stories)

  • Work closely with other Scrum teams/Scrum Master(s)

  • Preparation and analysis of team statistics and metrics

  • Preparation of PI plannings


Job requirements

What we expect from you:

  • Certified Scrum Master and Agile enthusiast

  • At least 5 years of professional experience

  • Proven experience with Scrum methodology (Jira, Confluence), experience with SAFe framework would be great benefit

  • Knowledge and practical usage of key flow metrics

  • Fluent English skills

  • Technically interested, knowledge of the life cycle of software development (Java, microservices)

  • Solution oriented, assertive

  • Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
