Test Automation Manager with German

Our client, the banking division of one of the major German car manufacturers, implements measures as part of the steering and regulatory requirements of the financial regulator.

The underlying software is an off the shelf finance software, cloud-based and runs in the hardened Amazon AWS rooms.

The software is delivered as a release 4 times a year per quarter. Hotfixes are delivered in between. Hotfixes are released approximately every 4 weeks. The focus of the UAT/FAT test phase takes place every 4 weeks.

Two integration environments are available for testing. If required, several test environments can be created

Your tasks

•  Further develop and maintain the overarching test concept (“master test concept”).
• Organize regular test status meetings and defect status calls with all participants involved in the project, test workshops, test case workshops and the UAT/FAT gateways.
• Tracking of test case creation (incl. plan/actual comparison, defining measures if necessary).
• Tracking of test execution (plan/actual comparison, define measures if necessary).
• Reporting: Creating and documenting test reports and ensuring continuous provision in Jira/Xray.
• Participation in meetings: Defect Status Call, JF Quality/Test/Operations, Test Workshops, Test Case Workshops, UAT and FAT Meetings, if required also in Dailies, Refinements etc.
• Jira/Xray “Support” (maintaining users and lists, providing the structure before each release).
• Comprehensive defect management.
• Escalation instance for cross-project defects.

What we expect from you

• Proficiency in German (both written and spoken) is a must.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience with financial business processes, especially in banking or automotive finance.
• Test management for complex systems and interfaces (UAT/FAT experience preferred).
• Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud.
• Proficiency in Jira/Xray and Confluence for test management and documentation.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
