The project


We are seeking a talented DevOpsEngineer to join our client's team and provide support with the daily management of the private cloud environment and server storage, as well as database housekeeping tasks including domain splitting, certificate management, and more.


Our client is an Austrian high-tech company with the intent to launch a GenAi application, trained based on the company’s own data, in 2024. The product shall enable municipalities:

  • to get as complete a picture as possible of the deployed municipality infrastructure (e.g., fiber, electricity, gas, etc.) and 
  • to facilitate the planning of changes and new construction measures of the municipality’s infrastructure. 

The aim is to create a digital twin of the municipal infrastructure where future projects can be easily modeled. To finalize and launch the application as well as to further enhance the set of features our client is looking for experienced and passionate DevOps professional to start as early as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the private cloud environment and server storage.
  • Perform database housekeeping, including tasks such as domain splitting and certificate management.
  • Maintain enterprise-scale databases, structures, setup, and ensure scalability.
  • Handle setup and maintenance of company networks, including firewall management and VPN networks.
  • Implement and manage automated workflow processes using tools like ArgoCD.
  • Administer Docker and Kubernetes environments for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Provide senior-level network knowledge and support for the project.


Job requirements

What we expect from you:

  • Extensive experience with enterprise-scale databases, including structure, setup, and scalability.
  • Senior-level network knowledge, including setup and maintenance of company networks.
  • Experience with automated workflow management tools (e.g., ArgoCD).
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (Linux Campus Training or equivalent).
  • Expertise in firewall management and VPN network configuration.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher), both written and spoken.


Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in C/C++/C#/.Net.
  • Python programming experience, especially with Django.
